We are a locally based Community Health Project. We deliver our services using Community Development principles while using Social Determinants of Health ethos in our work. The Tallaght Community Health Awareness Month is an annual event which takes place in October, this is coordinated The Fettercairn Health Project and supported by local surrounding Communities and Tallaght University Hospital. These events have such a diversity to the needs for everyone’s health

What is the project about?
Fettercairn Community Health Project is promoting the health and well-being of the residents of the area and working together, regardless of age, ethnic origin, ability, sex, belief or political affiliation recognising the value of our many differences.
Who is the project for?
Project is for anyone leaving in the Fettercairn/Tallaght area and who are interested in making some changes in their life. Wheater is a trying to quit smoking, learn about a healthy food and nutrition or just have fun in Zumba classes.

What are the results?
Increased awareness about health and nutrition thanks to Tallaght Community Health Awareness Month but also many other workshops run throughout the year like blood pressure checks, menopause talks, activator poles.
